Vegas Red Hat Diva's Ugly Sweater and Christmas Cookie Swap

This year our chapter had it's annual Christmas Cookie Swap and Luncheon, with a Ugly Sweater contest also.  Seeing what everyone came up with was fun and exciting. My part of lunch almost didn't happen when the crockpot holding the Pulled Pork fell on the ground. Even thou most of it landed on the front porch enough was saved for lunch. That crazy pot flipped over and landed face up. You just never know what is going to happen. I had a wonderful time and as some of these pictures show, I think everyone else did too!

Vegas Red Diva's Annual Christmas Cookie Recipe Swap

Welcome everyone to our Christmas Cookie Recipe Swap, this year it was held at the lovely Rebecca Morgan's House. I wish you could have been there to see all her lovely decorations and tree. We had such a wonderful time, playing games, having a Cookie Contest and snacking of course. Lot's of new cookies this year. I also shared with the group the letter I got from VFW Christmas Basket Program thanking us for our donation.
We also donated the rest of our cookies and some of our ladies baked extra cookies for our Military and veterans.

I am also sorry so many of our ladies were ill and indisposed this year. Hope everyone feels better soon. You were missed.

Vegas Red Hat Diva's Christmas Cookie Recipe Swap

Our chapter held it's 3rd annual Christmas Recipe Swap and Luncheon Sat. Dec 5th at my sister's home. We shared cookie recipes, chatted and held our first ever Christmas Cookie Bake Off. I appreciate all the help in collecting toys for The Shade Tree and baking extra cookies for the Men and Women of our Military. Such loving hearts and I am thankful for each and every one of them. We also had Queen Emma Sue and Marilyn join in celebration.  Here are a few pictures of our day.

We had a wonderful day and Merry Christmas to everyone. We collected so many cookies we are sharing them between the Military and The Shade Tree a shelter for abused women and children.
